Thanks to its steel unibody design and 4-wheel independent suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, Sorento delivers unmatched ride quality. A low steering gear ratio, combined with a solid front subframe, contribute to excellent steering response and confident handling. When the going gets tough, the available full-time Torque-On-Demand® all-wheel drive is ready to step in and tame any terrain, while Sorento’s powerful front and rear disc brakes help to keep things in check.
EXCELLENT POWER WITH IMPRESSIVE FUEL ECONOMY
Both of Sorento’s powerful engines employ Dual CVVT, which optimizes both intake and exhaust valve timing and helps to deliver impressive performance and efficiency. The standard 2.4L I4 yields 175 hp/169 lb.-ft. of torque and returns up to 29 mpg3 on the highway. Need a little more oomph? The new 3.5L V6 churns out 276 hp/248 lb.-ft. of torque and provides an admirable 26 mpg3!
