In the compact car market, competition is stiff, and contenders are plentiful. When thinking of a high-performance sedan with both style and value, it’s a challenge to narrow it down to just one top pick. After driving the 2010 Kia Forte, it’s clear to see that this car is a worthy, if not surprising, choice for NADAguides.com “Car of the Month” for August. Not many cars can boast a full package when it comes to design features, price, performance and fuel economy, but the Forte leaves a lasting impression with all that and more.
Available in three trims, LX, EX and SX, pricing for the all-new Forte compact sedan starts at $13,695¹ for the LX trim, while the Forte EX begins at $15,795. Moving up to the SX trim, pricing begins at $17,195. In addition to competitive pricing, Forte comes well-stocked with a long list of standard amenities, starting with a standard four-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system outfitted with SIRIUS Satellite Radio capabilities with three months complimentary service². Also standard on all models is an auxiliary audio input jack and USB port for connecting personal MP3 players³ as well as Bluetooth®4 connectivity with steering wheel-mounted controls, which enables hands-free operation for all compatible cell phones.
Along with appealing standard convenience elements, Forte showcases numerous class-leading features, including class-leading passenger volume of 96.8 cubic feet, class-leading horsepower of 156 with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a class-leading combination of standard safety features with active front headrests, advanced two-stage airbags, front seat-mounted and side curtain airbags, four-wheel disc brakes with an antilock brake system (ABS), brake assist (BAS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), a traction control system (TCS) and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Government’s Cash for Clunkers program is over. We had many customers who took advantage of this program and traded their old clunkers for a brand new Kia! You may have heard the news report saying dealers are running out of new cars… Swift Kia in Davis has restocked with new Kia models.
The 2010 Honda Insight, 2010 Kia Soul, and 2010 Toyota Prius are the Institute’s newest Top Safety Pick award winners. To qualify for Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn the highest rating of good in the Institute’s front, side, and rear tests and be equipped with electronic stability control. Criteria to win are tough because the award is intended to drive continued safety improvements such as top crash test ratings and the rapid addition of electronic stability control, which is standard on the Prius and Soul, and optional on the Insight.
“Recognizing vehicles at the head of the class for safety helps consumers distinguish the best overall choices without having to sort through multiple test results,” says Institute president Adrian Lund.
We won’t be doing any “Cash for Clunkers” deals effective Tomorrow, July 31st 2009.
This is due to the following news:
The U.S. government plans to temporarily suspend its “cash for clunkers” incentive program because Obama administration officials believe its $1 billion budget has been exhausted after just one week, said several congressional officials.
Department of Transportation officials contacted lawmakers offices Thursday evening to inform them the program would be put on hold as early as Friday, these people said.
‘Cash for Clunkers’ AKA C.A.R.S. program only applies to customers who have an older fuel-inefficient trade that is worth less than $3500 – $4500. We’ve had many customers who took advantage of this program by purchasing a brand new fuel-efficient Kia. We will update you when we have additional information about this program.
In the meantime we are still offering great buys on all new Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Kia and used cars we have in stock.
