Yes, it is the all new 2011 Kia Sorento Car and Driver Magazine reviewed back in November 2009:
All told, Kia has created a comfortable and quiet crossover out of the Sorento. Although pricing has not yet been announced, Kia tells us the Sorento should start a bit under $20,000 and top $30,000, but probably not by much, with an average transaction price in the low-to-mid-20s. We think that’s a sound deal for a vehicle that is decent-looking and competitively equipped and seems well screwed together. Now that it’s attached to what looks like a competitive crossover, we expect more people will get to know the Sorento name this time around.
Yes, it is the all new 2011 Kia Sorento that made Popular Mechanics declare: "What we've seen so far suggests that Kia's true success in America has only just begun."

Consider the paradigm shifted — the all-new 2011 Kia Sorento has arrived. As the first vehicle assembled at
Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMM G), this compact crossover ushers in a new era of exceeding expectations and maximizing capabilities. Boasting a reinforced body structure with a 3,500-lb. maximum towing capacity, two powerful yet fuel-efficient engine offerings, and the flexibility of 5- or 7-passenger seating, Sorento is poised to turn the segment on its head. And like all Kia vehicles, peace of mind comes standard thanks to an extensive list of safety features as well as Kia’s comprehensive 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program.
EXCEPTIONAL RIDE AND HANDLING
Thanks to its steel unibody design and 4-wheel independent suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, Sorento delivers unmatched ride quality. A low steering gear ratio, combined with a solid front subframe, contribute to excellent steering response and confident handling. When the going gets tough, the available full-time Torque-On-Demand® all-wheel drive is ready to step in and tame any terrain, while Sorento’s powerful front and rear disc brakes help to keep things in check.
EXCELLENT POWER WITH IMPRESSIVE FUEL ECONOMY
Both of Sorento’s powerful engines employ Dual CVVT, which optimizes both intake and exhaust valve timing and helps to deliver impressive performance and efficiency. The standard 2.4L I4 yields 175 hp/169 lb.-ft. of torque and returns up to 29 mpg3 on the highway. Need a little more oomph? The new 3.5L V6 churns out 276 hp/248 lb.-ft. of torque and provides an admirable 26 mpg3!
ONE OF THE ROOMIEST INTERIORS IN ITS CLASS
Sorento’s standard 5-passenger seating provides a cavernous 37 cubic feet of cargo volume, while the available 50/50 split-folding 3rd-row seats afford maximum flexibility. Whether it’s a weekend getaway with the family or an adventure-packed cross-country excursion, Sorento effortlessly accommodates both passenger and cargo needs for all occasions.
IMPRESSIVE HIGH-TECH FEATURES
Sorento coddles its occupants with a slew of advanced technology, including standard Bluetooth® wireless technology, SIRIUS Satellite Radio® with a complimentary 3-month trial subscription, standard USB/Auxiliary input jacks, an available GPS navigation system with SIRIUS Traffic™, available push-button start with smart key, and available panoramic sunroof – the first ever offered on a Kia vehicle.

Sorento also offers standard ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control System, Downhill Brake Control, Hill-start Assist Control, and an available Back-up Warning System and available Rear-Camera Display.
